A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Maybe it’s because I’m the daughter of a photographer, but I’m a little obsessed with pictures.  I love taking pictures, looking at pictures…and I think it’s so creative when couples find unique ways to incorporate pictures into their big day.  A picture is worth a thousand words, and displaying your favorite photos from your relationship and childhood can help tell your personal love story to your guests.

Aside from a slide show of photos, I’ve been searching for ways to display pictures that have meaning to us at our ceremony and reception.  Here is just a small sample of the many creative ways brides have incorporated their favorite pictures into their wedding day.

Photo Guest Book – A creative take on the traditional guest book that also displays your engagement photos.

Escort Cards – Create a mural with your favorite photo, each tile serving as the escort card for your guests.

Table Numbers – So creative!! You could display a different photo on each table.

Favors - There are so many websites that will take your photos and create unique favors for your guests.  I love these simple bookmarks with a personal note on the back.

Aisle Decor – Frame your walk down the aisle with chronological photos of you and your groom.

Where We Come From – Show respect and remembrance for your family by displaying photos of your parents, grandparents, and other close relatives.
