Mason Jars…

Posted on February 22, 2012 by  Miss Nostalgic Bride   //   Comment

…are all the rage!

They are everywhere! And for good reason! they have that nostalgic home feel to them and they can be used so many different places and ways it’s ridiculous!

I am contemplating using them some tables for vases or as a display piece with my wedding flowers, something like this…

Country Living

Brides are loving these for weddings! They are obviously very country chic but if you ask me, they fit quite well in any affair. It’s all about how you dress it.

I’ve found the urge to incorporate blues into my color scheme so that I can use vintage blue jars in my wedding. But for the sake of my sanity I have decided to stay in the clear (pun intended) and not waffle back and forth too much. After all the clock is ticking and this procrastinator still doesn’t have a solid date yet!

Dra-ma.

Also, it’s kind of not that easy to get your hands on a bunch of blue jars, and even if you do the come at a price. The clear ones are easily found and usually for less moo-lah. Luckily for those of you who are digging this idea, there is a solution….

Make your own!

Sure! I pinned this awesome tutorial on how to make your own blue mason jars.

They are not authentic, but you could get the same look, save a ton, and have some fun in the process.

The process looks super easy too!
