Ever wonder where the expression “Tying the Knot” came from? Well, it originates from the old Celtic & Scottish tradition of Handfasting! To honor our heritage we will include this in our ceremony. It’s a beautiful ritual that symbolizes us binding our love and lives together forever. Although the original tradition included certain numbers and colors of ribbons, modern times have added a twist. I’m looking forward to creating our handfasting ribbons and “Tying the Knot” in June.
