I’ve been tying up a lot of loose ends and a few of them involved gifts for the kids.
I’d been having a VERY tough time finding a bracelet for my flower girl. All of the ones in the stores are cheap, dress-up jewelry and I just haven’t found any that I’ve been in love with online. As I was telling my grandmother this the other day, she suggested I get into her bead collection and just make one. She enjoys jewelry making and as soon as I opened up the containers, I knew I was in luck!
With various silver beads and a single silver heart, I had the perfect winter bracelet for my flower girl!
Keeping on the topic of the flower girl, I know the soon-to-be 4 year old will be busting a move on the dance floor all night and won’t be too shy about it; however, with only a handful of small other children attending the reception, I decided I wanted to put together a small gift to keep those entertained who not may be as outgoing.
Considering the wedding is 3 days before Christmas, I picked up various Christmas coloring books and packs of crayons, then wrapped them up in festive paper. I plan on distributing them as we make our rounds to the various tables at the reception.
Hopefully all of the kiddos will enjoy their small gifts!
