Tips for Sparkler Exits

Posted on June 29, 2012 by  Miss Sweetheart Bride   //   19 Comments

Guests love sparkler exits, but they require a bit of coordination. Here are a few tips.

1) Make sure you buy high quality sparklers. I like the 36″ ones from Sparkle because they last 4 minutes to give people enough time to get organized and take some fabulous pictures.

2) Light the sparklers with other sparklers. You will need to use a lighter on the first one, but sparklers light other sparklers much faster than lighters/matches.

3) Choose a responsible person to hand out the sparklers. I say this because you do not want children or intoxicated people to be waving sparks at you and your new spouse.

4) Choose another person to help arrange guests so that you have a nice long line of sparklers to run through, and make sure they remind guest to hold their sparklers high up!

  2. […] One of my favourite ideas is to handprint brown kraft pouches with a personalised message (stamps: similar from Etsy) and fill with seeds from your local garden centre. A message I’ve recently seen said ‘Let our love grow’, which I thought was a beautiful thought for friends and family to remember your wedding day.
