Selecting a wedding photographer can be a very daunting task. Not only is the photographer responsible for producing outstanding memories of your wedding day but also has to be able to make everyone feel comfortable to be able to get the best pictures possible.
Having a love for looking at wedding photos, I knew what I wanted in a photographer and ultimately our wedding photos. Even though Matt and I live in a smaller city – there were a ton of different options for us to consider. After clicking through many of the photographers websites, I stumbled upon a local photographer named Carey Shaw. There was just something about her website that I found particularly welcoming and beautiful. With my fingers crossed, I contacted her to see if she had our date available and if she would be willing to meet with us. Luckily for us she had the date available and jumped on the opportunity for Matt and I to come down to her studio! Within minutes we knew that we wanted her to take our pictures! We sat there chatting away, flipping through different books of photos she has taken and loving every minute of it! She is so laid back, easy going and made us feel like she had known us for a while. It was just…the perfect fit!
They say a picture is worth a million words.. So here is why we just fell in love with Carey Shaw!~
