So I had (what I believe to be) my first Bridezilla Moment! I didn’t yell, throw things, or break anything but it was the first time I ended up with something that wasn’t what I had envisioned for my wedding! So here is the story…
I sent my fiance a text asking him to pick up 150 “Wedding” stamps for our Save the Dates, which he quickly agreed to (he’s such a great guy!). When I got home that night I was excited to finally have the stamps, and soon my Save the Dates would be ready to send! Well…the stamps my fiance brought home did not scream wedding to me! They were a reddish-orange Love stamp (which would be perfect if my colors matched or if I was sending valentines day cards). The color just clashed with the simple elegant return address labels and envelope seals that I had purchased to use for my Save the Dates. I don’t blame my fiance because he did ask for the “wedding” stamps, but the post office was all out!

Ultimately, I decided to exchange the stamps at another post office for beautiful white rose wedding stamps which were exactly what I wanted!

What do you think…Was I being a Bridezilla for wanting my stamps to match my wedding scheme or would you have exchanged them for the stamps you wanted too?
A. Definitely a Bridezilla! Who notices the stamps anyway!
B. No way! You are paying for them you should get what you want!

Sometimes it’s the smallest things that make us happy and the smallest things that set us off. When we have an expectation that doesn’t turn out the way we thought, it’s okay to get a little picky :)
I would have exchanged the stamps, too. If red is not one of your wedding colors it is very likely to clash and stand out.
As long as you were nice to your fiance about it, I don’t think you’re a bridezilla – you’re just detail-oriented. Nothing wrong with that. ;-)
