Winter Wedding Board

Posted on November 29, 2012 by  Miss Sophisticated Bride   //   1 Comment

My parents got married near Carmel, NY in December. Mom wore a gorgeous silk slip dress style gown that was low cut in the back and had delicate beading all over. To top it off she wore a classic fur wrap. For the late 70′s this was chic and timeless. If I had a winter wedding, I’d faux fur it up like SJP below.

Serve up Hot Chocolate for the kiddies or better yet, Hot Toddy and Buttered Rums for adults! Hot Toddies: 6oz of Black Tea, 2oz of Brandy, 1tbsp of Honey and a slice of lemon. Buttered Rum: 6oz Hot Water, 2.5oz of Dark Rum, Dash of Nutmeg+Cinnamon+Cloves, mix and add a pat of salted butter on top.

SJP, Candy Cane Shooters, ombre vase, snowflake confetti, succulent bouquet, invites, David Tutera Wedding
