Old Fashioned Soda Bar, Sliders, Mini Fries, Snow Cones, Mini Tequila Shots and Fish Tacos
After our ceremony everyone will be heading to the cocktail hour and we wanted to do something different to make it unique. We decided on a signature drink. We know we wanted something blue and fruity. In our searches we came across something called the Blue Ocean it had all the ingredients I love. We will of course change the name to something referring to us. Let just hope it taste as good as it looks!!!

At my job, we have many ladies who became engaged this fall and are planning weddings. Some of us are opting for a plated dinner with a fancy feel and less movement in our venue. Others want a buffet to get people out of their seats and to give guests more choices. Buffets also provide a pretty sweet creative license.

Perfect for a vineyard reception

A sweet buffet option for a smaller guest list

As I know many of your are, I am also I huge fan of a sweets/dessert table. But…this table certainly caught my eye with the bright colors and all of the yummy fresh fruits and crudites.

found on 79 ideas and created by guess who?…Amy Atlas, of course!

And in keeping with the fun, bright colored theme, I love the idea ( and look ) of this mimosa bar…

I have watched David Tutera on My Fair Wedding enough times to know that it is very “in” to have a signature drink at your wedding. With so many choices that all look and sound so yummy, how does one decide?
Let’s start with a few non-alcoholic drinks first…

fresh squeezed lemonade with raspberry ice cubes

how about using lollipops as drink stirrers?
now on to the cocktails that pack some punch!…

S’Mores Martini ( ok, i’ll admit it…one look at this drink is what gave me the idea for this post. Yum! )

and even though our Miss Ontario Bride beat me to the punch with her J.E.L.L.O. post, i just had to include these strawberry margarita jell-o shots. fancy, eh?
I couldn’t help but end this post with one of my favorite drinks. Simple and oh so tasty, it was the drink of choice for my husband and I on our honeymoon in Kauai and brings us back there any time we have one.
