The Proposal

Posted on February 11, 2013 by  Miss Detailed Bride   //   3 Comments

Selecting your bridesmaids is a very important task.  These are the girls you have chosen to stand beside you on the most important day of your life.  They are the ones you laugh with and celebrate with, and the ones you turn to for support during rough times.

I have to admit, when it came time to ask my girls to stand by my side, all I came up with was a simple, “Will you be my bridesmaid?”  Perhaps I was lacking inspiration, but I wish I could have been more like the following brides, and found creative and fun ways to select my bridesmaids.  Admittedly, I’m actually jealous I didn’t come up with theses ideas.  Although I’m sure they were grateful, I think that it could have made the moment even more special if I had a unique, and personalized “proposal” for each of my girls.

Besides, why should your fiancé have all the fun proposing in a unique way?  It should be just as fun to pop the question to your girls!

A keepsake box that includes all the information they will need for your big day.  After all is said and done, they can use it to hold special memories from your wedding.

Handmade jewelry your girls can wear with their dresses, or keep for years to come.

Keep it simple with a personalized card or hand written note.

A bottle of wine with a personalized label…this would have been a huge hit with my girls!

Cookies or cupcakes - your girls are sure to love these sweet treats!
